Any mamas on here ever been diagnosed with PID? I've been having pain in my lower abdomen today and I thought ovarian cyst at first but I went to the dr and after an internal exam he said he felt no cysts however my cervix looked "red and inflamed" so he was going to treat me for PID. I breastfeed so I am already completely heartbroken I need to take antibiotics and run the risk of my son getting thrush however from what I've read PID can be serious so I want to treat it just in case. I will know for sure in 2 days when tests get back. I really don't feel like it's that because I have never had any stds and neither has my fiancé and i know it can be caused by other things sometimes but I guess my gut feeling is that it's not. I just wanna know if you've had it what were your symptoms? (Also I am going to take the antibiotics and I already got a shot in my ass because better safe than sorry right 🤷🏼‍♀️)
