Ok Mommies that have traveled with a baby!!!!! What do I absolutely need to bring?!?! I know the basics but is there anything else? Plan on downloading some shows or what not to our Ipad for some entertainment. I'm literally so overwhelmed. I've only packed for hubby & I. First long trip as a family!!

What me and my husband do is drive over night so they sleep most of it. Of its so much better. And then a lot of stops at play ground to run out energy, u got the movies, I packed his favorite toys and I would sit in back and play with him.

I plan on sitting in the bacl with her....well hubby & i take turns...im just a little apprehensive since its our 1st long distance drive.

@tayekarunanithy thank you! I talk and sing to her anyway so its not cheesey at all!! And we already plan on stopping more often. So a normal 8 hr drive is going to turn into a 10 or 11 hr drive, im thinking!

@tayekarunanithy, roughly how many stops did you make?/do you know how many hours the trip was supposed to be originally? Plan is to take a trip to new Mexico in October and my son will be 6 months and it's an 8 hr drive I know situation may be different because of the different ages but I still want to get some idea of what to expect early on lol
