so I was all excited and looking forward to having a baby shower this saturday. the girl had it set for over a month. my sister got butt hurt tho because apparently she had a surprise shower already planned for june. my sister cancelled hers once my mom's cousin told me she was throwing me one. then my sister was hurt. I get it. she made plans and my mom's cousin ruined it. so she said she wouldn't show up to my baby shower. yesterday I got a message from my mom's cousin saying she is cancelling my baby shower only a few days away from the date because apparently she was stepping on my sisters toes.. that hurt. so now I don't get either baby shower because my sister is a butt hurt little asshole? then I made plans with my long time friend to go out and shop for the babies on Saturday and get another message saying she is still having the baby shower and only 5 ppl are gonna show. I'm like oh well I already made plans and I'm not the type to cancel like that on someone just for them to tell me it's cancelled again because of my sister which makes no fucking since why she has any influence on whether someone throws me a baby shower. and the sad thing is, is she doesn't even feel bad about hurting my feeling saying she wasn't going and my mom thought it was great it was cancelled smfh. ughh

I'm petty, I wouldn't let her be involved in a damn thing. My littlest sister was supposed to be in the delivery room, but bc she was acting like a brat, and was running her mouth, I didn't even tell her when I went into labor

Why do ppl think a surprise baby shower is a good idea? We are under enough stress and trying to avoid "surprises" /complications as it is! And the secret one wasn't planned to well clearly if she hadn't invited/made aware the family member throwing you the planned one. Your sister should have just bowed out and invited ppl to your planned shower to make the greatest turnout possible. I'm sorry momma for your mess😞

@allyk.xmommy my sister was supposed to help along with her husband to get my husband to the hosital when I have my c-section since they know how to use all his medical equipment properly, but now he refuses to help at all and she just told me she isn't coming up to the hospital to see or check up on me until hours after everything is done. I find that a little fucked up seeing that I was there throughout her whole labour and delivery the 24 hrs of her being in labour and pushing and me holding her heavy ass leg up because If I put it down she was in massive pain so I was there for her when she needed me! I was there when her husband was outside In the parking lot smoking pot and cigs and drinking beer until he couldn't even keep his eyes open in the delivery room. I was there for her. why can't they be here for me and my little family?!?

@twinmomma2b don't sweat it girl. Your sister doesn't deserve everything you do for her. The sad part is that you found that out the hard way. We all do. I would just put your energy towards someone that would do the same for you. When I got pregnant my whole family except my mom and step dad treated me like shit. They weren't excited and made a ton of comments about how we would be shit parents. So the next time none of those little fuckers get to know and guess what all the assholes that didn't act excited don't get to see my amazing son. Fuck em

@twinmomma2b oh right, I remember, and he's his medical caretaker. It's his job to help your brother right? Did u ever report him? And like i said, id give them the boot. I know you need them in a sense, but they are negative people
