I don't understand how a parent can get so drunk that they can't even remember their child's name. I also can't believe that a parent would allow other people to smoke in their home while their child is there. Nope my child and my husband are never allowed at that house again. I don't care how much they invite us over no way in hell will I ever expose that to my child. She deserves more than that. I also can't believe that they have the audacity to tell me that I'm only 20 and should be drinking having fun and partying. Uhmm I'm sorry but I have a responsibility and that is my child. She will always come first and I don't see the need to act like a complete idiot and get drunk not being able to care for her needs. No I will be responsible because I decided to have her, I decided to be a mom, she didn't ask to be born, and because of that she deserves a mom that loves and cares for her unconditionally. Not when I feel like it. I had my fun when I was a teen. I drank, smoke and went to parties all the time. Those days are over and the person I used to be is gone. Seriously these people are older than me and have a child that's 6 months younger than my daughter and for some reason they think it's smart to always be drinking when they are taking care of their child. Getting so drunk they collapse and pass out in their hallway. Get so drunk they can barely walk let alone remember their child's name. I just don't understand it. If your going to have unprotected sex and have a child act like parents and grow up.
