Whats everyones opinion on marijuana?

I think it's up to your personal opinion and your providers. I personally used cbd oil while pregnant and nursing because I have arthritis in my back and buldging disks and I feel better taking medical marijuana than i do prescription pills. But I don't really agree with doing it recreationally while pregnant or nursing. However if your not pregnant or nursing I think it should be like drinking and just done responsibly

I was a heavy smoker before pregnancy. Really keeps my anxiety under control

I kinda agree but... Just wanted to know what others thought of it. & not just about smoking while pregnant or breast feeding. Just in general

I don't think marijuana is bad compared to prescription pills. I hear and see documentaries about new born babies go through withdrawals just because the Mom's used prescribed or illicit drugs throughout their pregnancies.

There hasn't been much studies shown that it affects babies physically, however it affects an unborn baby mentally. I also here that it alters the heart rate. I think smoking once in a while won't cause harm.

@november.01 i was too. & smoked a lil while pregnant . everyone i know smoked while pregnant and thier kids are fine and are smarter than most. But i cut down a lot. & went weeks without smoking. But i just did yeaterday took 2 hits because i was so sick and had bad migraine and then it was gone after smoking. Just helps a lot. I dont see nothing wrong with it. I mean least i don't smoke cigs like a lot of pregnant people smoke a pack a day... Idk idc if i get judged. I'm a good mom. My kids have eveything and very healthy.

@evanasmama i totally agree. My ob even said there is no proof that it harms baby and not to do it all the time

& i refuse to take any kinda pills while pregnant even Tylenol.

@kaseyjazmine Tylenol is not bad, but I respect your choice not to do it but it comes in handy lol

@evanasmama right. I wouldn't ever drink . i have a bad stomach & cnat even drink when I'm not pregnant anyway & i seriously hate the smell of cigarettes.

@evanasmama i know its not bad. But i was js i dont like to take any pills at all & Tylenol doesn't even help me with anything sadly.

@kaseyjazmine other Moms judge other women for their choice to use cannabis but condone the use of prescription of drugs.

@kaseyjazmine, unfortunately there's not a lot of alternatives to relieve pain during pregnancy.

@evanasmama yeah i dont see anything wrong with ig as long as im not smoking every day and not smoke to get stupid high. I just take a couple hits and i went weeks without and i was sick from not smoking. & my forat had it in her systems when born and they didn't do anything about it. So I'm not really worried. Even if people wanna deny it i know a lot of people smoke a d scared to say they still do something because of being pregnant

@kaseyjazmine I smoked a couple of times, and didn't have the urge to smoke every day. One or two hits is good for me.

I think marijuana in general should be legal and should be just like drinking.

I feel that it's just a herb that helps with a lot! People make it seem like it's the worst thing ever it's so annoying!

@kaseyjazmine, so did I & my baby is measuring ahead although I barely eat due to sickness .

I smoke it sometimes before bed when I have anxiety and it helps so much.

@js.muva agree. I posted on a pregnancy app and so many people called me names and told me i was killing my baby and so many other things. I was like damn y'all need a Joint .

I don't smoke but every single family member of mine does. I honestly don't mind it.

I don't smoke it.. I like how it can help so many people medically... I hate when people let it consume their lives and put it above their children having necessities...

@mz_young i agree. I wouldn't be one of them people. I always make sure i have bills paid food and household stuff we need and if i have a lil extra month I'll buy a little. I can make a gram last me like a week.

@kaseyjazmine, I have smoked only two times while being pregnant. Otherwise I have always smoked.

Also that is what I love about this app. Everyone is so respectful and you can ask anything.

@krispy1996 yeah before being pregnant id smoke to get energy for my depression, anxiety, panic attacks, to eat ,to take away my pains & so on. But for my baby i stopped smoking everyday and only do once ina while. My bf can't smoke anyway so its easier when hes not smoking as well. & yess i love this app. Definitely my favorite.

Personally, I don't like it for the reason of it being classified as an (in most places) illegal drug. If it's legal in a state, then I think it's perfectly fine... in that state. If in a state that considers it illegal, perhaps not a good option.

& I def agree with everything you said..if I'm having pain or not eating I'll take a couple hits but I haven't took any meds my whole pregnancy
