Ladies i have a question, about 2 months ago i gave birth to a baby boy and just 2 days ago i got my first period and its been hella crazy ( sorry for the language) but i dont know what to do, iam using both tampons and pads and my bleeding is so heavy that if i dont change within and hour is goes through my clothes also i jave been taking midol,tylenol for cramps nothing works and im using a heating pad it doesnt either what should i do? my doctor isnt answering the phone.

By any chance did you start birth control at all since giving birth?
I got the Depo about two months after my last child. It made me bleed heavy just like that for several months and they just kept switching birth control to try and stop it. I ended up bleeding for 14 months total. What finally stopped it was going to a different doctor who took me off birth control entirely for two months and put me on progesterone tablets to rebalance my hormones.
Until you can get a hold of your doctor (PS, if they're a family practitioner I'd recommend switching to a real OB/GYN. I don't trust family practitioners with lady problems anymore.) Start using adult diapers instead of pads. You can get some pretty comfortable ones that don't make noise or look bulky, so it's just like using regular underwear without the worry if soaking through.

Mine was heavy and I still bleed through everything and had to get my IUD removed because I thought that it could be the problem but it's still heavy. My doctor couldn't tell me why I'm still bleeding so heavy.
