For those who have survived the summer while pregnant (I'm due in Sept) HOW DID YA DO IT?! I felt like I was going to melt in the heat yesterday... but I also wanna surprise my hubby with a nice trip just the two of us before she's born. With my limitations (can't do roller coasters and most of the fun stuff at an amusement park) I don't wanna be a party pooper but most of my ideas (Hershey Park, Knoebel's, or hiking) I feel like I wouldn't get much out of it. So any ideas?
Girl idk how I did it but I stayed inside alot because I had hot and cold flashes . I went like maybe 3 times to water country here . Felt like I was dying lol .
@kassi.ruz I'd give ya a hug if it wasn't so sticky
And that's a bit far trust me u don't want to go on that long of a drive lol there r a lot of lake houses u can rent around here and such especially at the state parks and such
@lillyb my uncle has a lake house in lake Gaston, NC but usually we go as a family over labor day weekend and that's a little bit too close to my due date so I'm not sure if it'd be a good idea.
U could look to do like a weknd at the beach. It's not super far from here. That's what I would want to do. It's relaxing and there is always plenty to do ♡ or go on a retreat to a cabin by a lake so u can swim and stay cool and there is usually stuff u can do there as well whole pregnant. I was in the same boat cuz I wanted to find something for us but now hubby won't be able to get any time off work until she is here so we won't be going on a trip together unless it's a day trip but with him working nights it'll be hard lol I hope u can find a great place ♡♡
@halibug it was upper 80s, 90s and I was not happy.
@halibug he loves museums and we thought about going on a double date with my siblings in law to go to the creation museum in TN (I think that's where it is)
I know I was pregnant over the summer with my son and doing it again this year and I can't stand the heat. I stayed indoors most of the time. Idk what your husband would be into but you could go to a state that has cooler Temps. Maybe go to indoor places like a museum or maybe even a water park.
@armywife72515 I should've assumed when you said about hersey lol
Try a beach day or water park also you have to @ people or they can't see you replied
Idk where ya live. But what about a nice trip to the beach somewhere? I know with wildwood and seaside there's still a nice boardwalk to play games and do some shopping. Even ocean city
I tried to stay in as much as possible but then on the other hand if I go to a pool or sometimes that helped. Being when it's humid out those are the days I dreeded with the first two pregnancies. This one I'll be pregnant in the summer and it was so hot yesterday I couldn't take it
