Gotta do it. Lol I know it's hard. Just keep waking her up.

And don't just feed her on demand. Feed her every 3 hours religiously even if you have to wake her up.

I used to feed on demand and ran into that issue.

Change her diaper, give her a bath. Even make the baby cold by stripping her down to wake her up.

I don't know how u would keep a 3 week baby up allll day? They are supposed to nap. Make sure she's napping in a well lit room with background noise and when getting ready for bed make the room dark and quiet. She may have days and nights mixed up . Good luck

We had days and nights mixed when my daughter was first born. I kept her out where it was loud and bright during the day, and I woke her up every 2 hours even if it was just for a few minutes so that she knew it was daytime. Then at night we kept it dark and when she did wake up we would hold and comfort her, but we didn't talk or interact more than necessary to get her to understand it's night time not play time. We also established her bedtime routine super early so she would know when I put her to bed this was the "long sleep" instead of a nap.

And there is nothing wrong with feeding on demand, it's best for your supply and cluster feeding in the evenings is totally normal. It helps them fill us so they can sleep all night. My baby is almost 6 months old and we still feed on demand and most evenings she still cluster feeds, then she sleeps from 9 pm to 8 am!

@vvrobinson, it's so hard though when you need to get stuff done to keep that routine. Lol we try routine but I feel like I'm all over the place. During the day I'm I have a breastfeeding schedule but at night it's def on demand. And I and a cesarean as well but luckily I'm pretty much recovered just so exhausted still from all those damn meds. Specifically the epidural. It made my body so weak. Is it normal for them to be up all night long? Lol everyone around me thinks she's sick or something but then I come on here and other moms like you experienced the same.
