I guess I'm terrible at making friends. Found another mom that lives close by with a son around my son's age. Explained to her at the beginning of the month I had a lot going on that first week. First OB appointment, son's birthday and his party and had family in for a week. I'm a mother I forget shit. I'm also Pregnant and feel like shit half the time. Forgot to send her a message the week after, and oh look there was my birthday and a few days later mother's day. And they were both shitty days. I went and sent her a long ass apology due to it being my fault. I forgot, I was busy and stressed. And this month has been a hectic mess. And she reads it and blows it off. Really??? Am I that bad of a person?? We both have kids my husband is always at work I never have the one car I can use unless I have appointments. Am I in the wrong even though I sent a long ass apology explaining why I never got back to her?

I don't think you're a bad person but some people don't understand how really friendship work... and people forget sometimes what is it to be pregnant and have a toddler.. I get how you feel but don't stress out maybe it was for the best..

@skysmommy04 I'm also looking for a job. Don't get me wrong I love time with my son. But it's been a year with no break. I need to go to work to get away, and he needs to re-bond with his daddy again. I try to make friends, I forget shit. I procrastinate and I'm not always on my phone.

@fitlife I'm glad other people understand. Hell I even forget to get ahold of family. Husband isn't home so I needed to rant to someone else lol.

girl don't sweat it.. having 3 kids myself ranging from 9 to 2 and one more on the way any day... work I mg a full time job, sometimes I go weeks with out Call I mg or texting my only 3 friends and have the time forget when we make plans... thanks goodness they don't hold it over my head.

@mommab4 it just sucks that we are new out here. And with moving it's harder to find someone you can trust and with kids around your child's age. Trust me if I was back in Indiana friends wouldn't be an issue. I have 4 true friends there and I know they would never hold it against me. Hell I have one I talk to more than any of them and we can go days without talking and we are fine. Just trying to find someone new who's like that is rough
