I love my baby still. I just don't feel excited anymore and I hate myself for it. I'm just having an absolute breakdown. @juliaschade41, I should be happy to have a healthy baby especially considering I was told I couldn't have kids. But my S/O already has two boys and he wanted a girl and he was so excited for a girl. He says he's excited that it's a boy but I just feel like everything is wrong now

It's called gender disappointment. Many mom's feel this when they were hoping for a different gender.

I feel a lot better now. I just felt so bad because I cried over the gender. I felt like I should've celebrated either way @kendraharlee,

Think of it this way, you'll always have a forever protector! I'm about to have my second son, and let me tell you, little boys steal your heart. 😍💘 Plus, plenty of time for more babies in the future.

We went through the same thing. Give yourself time to adjust to the news. Allow yourself to mourn the loss of your daughter (that's how my husband described it, lol). You'll be mentally prepared to mother your son by the time he gets here. :)

Thank you all so much. I'm feeling better about it today. I went and bought a few outfits which cheered me up a good bit. My boyfriend has been very supportive and excited which is helping a lot. Thank you!!❤️
