I have my sons first birthday party coming up next weekend...I planned on ton of people coming like 50 people between mine and my SO's family and I have 8 people coming...which are my best friends and my parents and his parents....my SO's close family and even his BROTHERS are not coming...and he seems really hurt by it..

Yeah we had the same thing happen... much of my family showed, only his parents and grandma came on his side... not even his sister bothered to show! Sad thing is we live 10 hours from them, and made that trip up there so that they could participate... and no one bothered to come! So he decided he was done making an effort on his side! If his parents or grandma need something, he's all over it, anyone else and he's not interested! 😓 it's sad but he saw how important he is to them, and how important our family is.

@dreamermom, it honestly sucks for him! I feel so bad because we rarely even get to see his family and once in awhile he makes a comment that we always see my family which isn't a lie...but not saying it to be mean or anything just saying it because it's the truth lol
