What are some good toys to get for infants/newborns,? I want to develop his sensory and motor skills…

The only thing I have for mine is an activity mat where he can lay on and swat at toys lol and some rattles. The first couple months though all they need is face to face interaction :)

In the first few months they're vision is still developing. I think when they're 4 months is when they actually see your face clearly. Best thing for a baby is contrast patterns (black and white). They'll really concentrate on them!

Contrasting colors. The biggest one is either white shapes on black background or white shapes on black backgrounds. It is easiest for baby to focus on.
