Has anyone left work to be a full time mum after maternity? I haven't got anyone who can look after her due to family working or not got good health to look after a baby so I have to leave work would prefer to have all that time with my daughter. How was it for you? And what did you say to your manager cos I have to write a letter no idea what to say :S can anyone help me out? Thanks girls

Yeh I had no choice tho they let me go iv always worked and tbh it's hit me hard I feel like am just stuck in all the time , I had him his place in nursery as well xx

Oh really that's not nice letting you go. I've not got a choice cos I live to far from work so I'd be miles away from any childcare, they don't seem to care about giving you abit of lee-way when having a child to have hours around childcare and I've got no family free to look after her at all they all work etc if I didn't leave work I wouldn't be happy having to work far away from her incase of emergency etc and my money wouldn't even cover childcare lol I only have a 12 hour contract and I'm fed up of that so I just want to have a break and find a new job at some point. I don't want to leave my daughter with anyone yet. I'm gonna try get out and about to baby groups and get out walking etc when it gets nice I'm sure I'll be OK got no choice haha. Xx family member was going to help me out but at the last minute changed her mind so.
