Sometimes I feel like I'm too hard on my 12 year old & get REALLY irritated with her! I feel so bad…

Girl you are not a hypocrite! You're a loving and protective Mother! My Mom was always hard on us and later in life when things would go wrong by the choices I made I always remembered my Mother's advice. It was the advice I remembered hearing that helped me make better choices in the future. We all make mistakes and we all learn later in life. There is no stopping that cycle. You're doing great Mama!! 😘👸🏽

@mrs.mommy.loza thanks love, I know she feels like I just hate her sometimes or that I'm mean on purpose! She tells me! My mom wasn't a good mom so I basically taught myself how to be a good mom by not doing what she did!

Yeah that's totally normal! All kids feel that way when their parents are trying to teach them what's right. Don't grow weary for doing good. In due time you'll see that your good works will make a beautiful child!

I was the way I was though because I don't feel loved or wanted come to find out about five years ago when my mom died I asked my aunt why my mom was so different from her two sisters and her brother was parenting and she said because my mom never wanted kids so I was right I'm glad I was never like that with my son or my daughter I may have gotten pregnant early and all but at least I show my kids love on a daily basis my son is 20 years old and lives two and a half blocks away for me and I still make sure he is part of family gatherings and still comes over and hangs out with us some does all that so I must be doing something right LOL
