Roar I'm just SO irritated right now! My mom seems to think that you can fix preeclampsia if you 'just stop worrying!' 😤😡 I'm NOT worrying, I'm not stressed! I'm in some discomfort... because your 3rd trimester does that! 😒 I'm eating well, drinking my water, taking my prenantal and baby aspirin, trying to get some exercise in everyday, I ask for help, try to reduce my stresses by not taking on tasks I know I can't do right now... and if my BP is elevated slightly, I have LITERALLY done everything I can to prevent it! You telling me 'if you stop worrying about it, you won't have the baby as early as your first!' Is NOT helping me! Like it was my fault my BP spiked... like I wanted that to happen! Growl! I love my mom, but mostly when it comes to stuff like this, she just pisses me off! 😓😒 I really wish my Dad was alive... he was SO much better at this stuff! 😢

Unfortunately a lot of people think preeclampsia can be prevented with all sorts of shit- rest, less stress, less salt.... all of that is bullshit. If you had preeclampsia already in your precious pregnancy you can join the preeclampsia survivors page on Facebook and the ladies should be able to provide you links stating that there's nothing you can do to prevent it from happening again.

@kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom, exactly and since mine came on before 36 weeks I have higher chances of it happening again! It's not something I'd wish on anyone... but it just is what it is! 😓 where do I find the preeclampsia survivors group?

I was diagnosed with severe preeclampsia at 28 weeks with my second. Delivered at 29 weeks because of that and HELLP. It was nothing I did. I get it. I'd want to smack the crap out of anyone telling me I could have prevented that though.

@kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom, me too everything was TOTALLY normal with my first... all of a sudden I was extremely tired! Went in because my gut told me something was not right (at 33w exactly), and I had severe preeclampsia as well delivered 2 days later because they were struggling to keep my BP under 165/95... there was nothing I could do! 😓

@kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom, well I just broke down crying and bitching to my husband about how irritated I am, then took my BP 121/81! 😅 maybe I should cry and bitch more!

@mcrowell0970, I'm hoping that we get lucky and make it at least 36 weeks!
