It's suggested cause sometimes your body needs more time to recover. But if you think you're ready then go for it! I got pregnant again when my first was 10 months 😂
I complained a lot, but it wasn't any worse or better than the first time around. I'm just a whiner. 😂 My husband had it worse than me cause I made sure he remembered every day that it was his fault and he owed me things.

Most doctors recommend waiting 18 months to let your body return to normal. But a lot of women get pregnant sooner and are fine.
