I've been put on them with my previous pregnancies and this time at 27 weeks as well. The baby won't be affected, he or she is actually taking up all the iron your body has and leaving your counts low. The iron is for you, and if you have had lower energy and feeling tired a lot you will notice a big difference in how you feel also!

I take prenatal pills everyday that are high in iron. My doctor recommended that for me. I'm on a special prescription kind tho. Not the normal ones from the store.

Those r the better ones to take as they r easier on ur stomach and to digest as a lot of other iron pills cause stomach upset
