Hello, I am sara, I'm a mother to a 2year old girl. After having my daughter I got on the depo. I have been on it sense then till about April 27th. I was wodering... how long did it take for others to get their period after being on it for so long.

When I was on it in the past, it was 2 years that I received the injections, and then it took 7 months to get my period. I was told it depends on how long your on the Depo, but also keep in mind that every woman's body is going to react differently.

I've been on it for a year and didn't get s period the whole time. I'm off of it now
