@the.seminole.812, these babies aren't much older than my daughter, only by a couple months and I'm pretty damn sure they were all front facing before they turned one🙄 educate yourself people...
All of my kids were forward facing at one. It all depends on there weight and height not age. Everyone parents differently so there's no need to mom shame those who don't parent the same way you do.
Height and weight have very little to do with spinal and brain development when it comes to the impact/force that a car accident can apply to a child's body.
Parents should not be shamed but, should be educated about changes and development in car seat safety
@the.seminole.812, literally was just about to write something along the lines of this! @dani_marie93, @fasciamom, I read an article not to long ago about how until the age of 2 a toddler spine is not developed enough to handle the impact of a car accident (if you were to get rear ended) if they are front facing before two... I'm not shaming just saying that research should be done before someone should considering facing their 1 year old forward
I'm on a fire department and have seen many wrecks where the child is one and in forward facing seats and perfectly fine. It's not a matter of how there facing but a matter of how well they are strapped in.
