Can you wear tampons after you give birth? How long do you have to wait; if you have to wait?

@alliexa, u will go right threw a tampon it's not like a period. My doctor said no tampons until 10 weeks but I didn't need them bc I got my first period mother day and my baby is 8m the perks of breastfeeding is amazing. If u BF u may not have a period for up to one year and won't need tampons. I'm hating they way they are now and I loved tampons before they r are waste I'm considering the cup method it's getting more popular

You can after 6 weeks whenever you get your first period, but honestly, I'm 10 months PP and I still don't want to. 😅😅 They're so uncomfortable now. You can't use them for the blood after birth tho. Risk of infection. And the blood flow will most likely be too heavy anyway at first.
