Sorry, about all the post. But I have a question. Now, that my son is a year old. Can I still give him formula. Or just completely cut that out of his diet now. I tried to give him some milk. But he doesn't seem to be a big fan of it. And looks like his body is not agreeing with milk also.. Like I still give him juice, water, baby food, plus some adult food that he can chew and swallow a little. Would like some advice, it's been a while for me.. And tomorrow is his first year checkup

Ask his pedi! I would try non-dairy milks, personally. They're easier on the digestive system and have more calcium. And you may have to just keep trying it until he finally takes to it! Maybe wean him off formula slowly, like omit a bottle every other day or so, and give him milk instead.

They make toddler formula too. He's fine for a little bit still on formula. After a year old it just isn't needed is all since they start eating table foods. Milk shouldn't be the biggest part of his diet once he's off formula. He needs to be eating 3 meals and snacks with some milk. Not necessarily cows milk either. Try mixing formula with milk for a bit to get him to switch over slowly

My son is 1 year and 3 months and he's on the formula Enfagrow. It's made for toddlers 1-3 years old. He eats regular food throughout the day and I give him the formula whenever he asks for it.

I just slowly started adding milk into his formula until he got off. The first day I did 1 oz of whole milk with his formula second day 2, 2 so on till it was only whole milk

I started off giving my daughter warm milk with her dinner every evening instead of formula

U could also try weaning him to almond milk
