I can't stand 😤😤😤😠😠when individuals want to label kids with special needs as behavioral. There is a big difference between them. It drives me crazy 🙃 when individuals say that "child needs a good old fashion butt whopping " Thinking butt whopping is going to slove the issue with kids with special needs. News flash they can't help that they are rocking back and fourth it's part of autism. They don't understand how to pay attention for long periods it's part of ADHD . They don't understand why they are happy 😊 one minute and mad 😖 the next that is the mood disorder. They don't like to be made fun of because they have disabilities. It took me a while to get my sons to accept they were special like the other classmates. Ty Ty often said he wanted to die 😢 it broke my heart 💔 to hear him say this. But he was being bullied at school by a bigger child. Once he got to the reason why he said that. We were able to talk one on one with him about the bully. He goes to a excellent private special needs school. Dan Dan used to get made fun of because he can't talk that clearly. His classmates would often call him a "baby " . So Dan Dan started not wanting to be called on in class in the fear of his classmates making fun of him. He was falling behind because he failed to do any work as a group in his classroom. I had to switch my sons outta 4 different schools . Now they don't go to the same school but they both are doing so much better. Being a Mother to special needs sons has made me have to have more patience and understanding. I am beyond blessed to call these two boys my son 💖💖💖💖
