Poor hubby fell asleep playing on his computer. These 14+hr shifts are really taking a toll on all of us. The kids and I get to say "Hi" and "Goodnight" to him 5 1/2 days a week.
He sits in a truck, shaking and bouncing around everywhere, so when he gets home and is sitting or standing still, he says it feels too weird for him. I always have to pack his lunches with things that he can pretty much eat one handed while driving, because they don't stop and take lunch breaks. I give these men a lot of credit for what they do, because there ain't no way in hell I could or would do their jobs.
My husband works 6 days a week like that standing all day and barely gets brakes to eat let alone pee ,our men work hard for our families but I wish we'd get a little more family time in
@dhamiphoenix, not sure, because he just started this job 2 weeks ago. He drives 1 1/2 hours just to the construction site and another 1 1/2 hours back, so he leaves at 5:30am, and gets home around 8:30pm. Hopefully, they'll move to a much closer site soon.
Oh man 😔 we know what that is like! It is rough! My husband leaves for days at a time and my kids will scream if he even goes to the store while he is home. Is your hubby going to have to keep up these hours?
