Today's Prompt: What advice would you give a new mom? *For me, it would be to embrace the ordinary moments. We always think about the extraordinary moments, that these are the ones we need to remember. And that’s true. But it’s the ordinary moments that I miss. The snuggling on the couch when they were babies. The long car rides with them asleep in the back, just looking so little and peaceful. The photo I’m sharing today is of me, Alex and Victoria (who is sleeping). I love this moment because it’s just an ordinary moment, but it’s a special one because it’s with 2 of my kids - and it’s a happy moment. Alex is laughing at something I said and Victoria peaceful on my shoulder.
