Im probably the only weirdo that feels this way but mothers day is for mothers, not grandmothers. There is grandparents day for grandparents. Like on mothers day i would like a gift from my child to me and id give something from me to my mother. But the gift to my mother would not involve my daughter. As cute as the idea of giving my mom a gift with Gaby's foot print or finger painting is, its from gaby not from me. She can get that on grandparents day. Instead of a mug that says "worlds best grandma" it should say "worlds best mom" the day is to celebrate moms as moms not grandmothers. Thats just my two cents.

I completely agree like I have 4 grandmas and not that I don't love them but I feel the same way that day is for my mother and it gets frustrating cause 2 out of 4 expect something for Mother's Day weather it be a card or an actual gift that gets a little pricey

@patience.ledesma exactly! Like we celebrate with my grandmother because we do lile a family bbq thing but when i give my mom her gift its from me and my siblings not my child.

Exactly if I were to give my mother a gift at the family BBQ and no one else I get dirty looks and scuffs so I usually do it before lol

@patience.ledesma oh my family is the same way. I usually pull her to the side and have a little pow wow with her and my siblings.
