You know, I'm really sick of comments from family/friends about me still giving Isabelle her bottles.

"Shouldn't she be holding her own bottle by now?" "You're spoiling her!" "Just don't do it for her, she'll eventually get the hang of it."

You're damn right I still feed her her bottles! You know why? Because I want to. Because she wants me to. Maybe she should be doing it by now, but I don't care. She is 10 months old. The only time she sits still with me for more than 5 seconds is during bottles. I use them as cuddle sessions bc I don't get them anymore.

She is 10 months old. In a few months, there will be no more bottles. She drinks out of her sippy and eats on her own just fine. I only feed her bottles. Sometimes she does hold her bottle, but she still wants me to hold her while she does it, and I will gladly do that. She isn't spoiled. She isn't dumb. There's nothing wrong with her. I'm not going to force her to do it if she doesn't want to. She is A BABY. She isn't supposed to be 100% independent.

If something changes in the next few months and she no longer wants to cuddle with momma during bottle time, then so be it. But until that day, I will gladly do it for her.
