Does anyone know how I can change midwives without going through my actual midwife? Lol
So last pregnancy she made me feel so uncomfortable. Any question I'd ask, she'd brush off with no explanation, just staying well of course you are pregnant you know. I know for certain she started things like measuring stomach and heartbeat weeks later than my friends and family told me it should start by. This pregnancy I don't want to continuously hear about how every thought or concern I have about my body is just nonsense and pregnancy stuff and I should get over it. I asked her about blood clots/weird stuff I'd passed a month back, she goes, no idea and just moved on. And the hard part is, she's head midwife in my area! Oh and what sealed the deal for me too was after I had Zaid she came to do checks and my mum was down to help me with bubba after my c-section. After she left my mum was like wth is she always that rude. And I'm like YES MUM THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN COMPLAINING ABOUT THE ENTIRE TIME!

my midwife is like that, I'm 26 weeks preg and I have only had 2 measurments! call the main midwife line and speak to the midwife in the office. Thats how I would do it here @noshinxoxo

oh and if she is the main one then hmm speak to your doctor or a member of the admin team and tell them straight why you want to change. Don't feel like you owe her anything. She should do her job properly and if she can't then why should you suffer.

Call the antenatal department and tell them you want a different midwife they'll sort it out for you xx
