My fiancé chose to get our son circumcised, I didn't really want to but decided to leave the choice to him, and now I beat myself up a out it every single day. I should of stood my ground and not let his mom get into his head saying it needed to be done, now it's time for his vaccinations and I don't want them done but he does. i just don't know what to do.
I do plan on writing a long letter to my son apologizing for not standing my ground and removing a part of him with his consent and when the time is right I will read it to him.
Obviously people have different views on all this, but what should I do? Any advice on guilt? Please no bashing in the comments, I already feel horrible enough...

@butterfli_luv, I just feel he should be the one to make the choice because it's his body not mine, I would of rather let him be how he was born. And I'm still on a huge debate about having vaccines done or not. And thank you! I don't plan on circumcising my next son at all.

Honestly the sole reason I made my choice to get my sons was based on the fact that my grandpa who mind you is a tough veteran said he wish his mom had done it for him and he never complained through anything not even the chemo he said all his sweat would get trapped in the skin and no matter how much he cleaned himself he never felt clean also god forbid something happened and they needed it later in life they would have a recollection of the pain as a newborn they have no memory and most men don't have an attachment to the skin nor have I ever heard someone say I wish I wasn't circumcised no need to beat yourself up

@mamaamari, my boyfriend isn't and when we found out we were pregnant I felt like I should allow him to choose bc he would know better than me since I don't have a penis. I know they don't circumcise in his family so I wanted to give him the choice. He told me that we would have gotten our baby circumcised if our baby wasn't a girl.

I didn't get my son circumcised for many reasons but respecting his body was reason number 1. Vaccinations however are important to keep him healthy and free of serious disease. Everyone has different opinions on vaccines so just research and make the best decision you can for your son

We actually do delayed vaccinations. One or two at a time. Spaced out anywhere from two weeks to a month or so. My husband & granny was adamant about me getting her vaccinated. I personally don't trust them but know they are needed to prevent serious illnesses that could kill my daughter, so our best option was to delay them. That way she isn't getting all the toxins, mercury & aluminum, all at once.
