I'm so drained and in pain every night after work.! I have asked my dr if there is a way I could get a month off from work prior to my expected due date and she said no. I was mad. I work 12 hour shifts 4 days a week overnights. My manager refuses to change my hours and continues to add more work to my workload...my dr is aware of this...I can literally feel my body giving up towards the night every night!!! Idk what to do. I am at the point where I don't want to work anymore at all!!! If I leave I'm afraid I won't be going back and I'm trying to push myself as much as possible.

In minnesota it says if youve been working there half the time for 12 months or they have 21 or more employees.

It's called FMLA. Im sure your doctor and employer knows that. It's your body. Listen to it.

I took maternity leave a month before i had him,i just had to return sooner. By law you get 12 weeks off for maternity leave. Thats your choise(however spelt). My state its harder to get off because we are a right to work state which means employers have more say.
