How do you take a basal temp? I think that's what they are called ...... Are there special…

It's a special thermometer that has 2 places after the decimal... so it's more accurate... I would set an alarm every morning at exactly the same time, and you just take your temp the normal way... before you sit up or anything! And you will get pretty accurate results! That's how I knew I was pregnant with both pregnancies... because my temp spiked after ovulation and usually on the 6th day it would start going down to normal... and it stayed up! Lol at 10dpo, I was able to test postitive... several days before my missed period!

I could just hear myself saying "I need the thermometer that you stick up there and it tells you your temp , you know the kind for when you wanna have kids?" lol

Do you have ovulation strips? I ordered a Waldorf kit on Amazon, pee cups and basal thermometer for about $50

😅 yeah some women take their temp vaginally... but I take mine orally, and it worked perfect for me! ☺️ I also recorded everything in an app called fertility friend
