You're probably still too early to detect it with your Doppler. At lot of them recommended you be 15-20 weeks to hear it clearly.

I'm 26 weeks along and there's a lot of times I cannot find his heartbeat!! Home dopplers really aren't 100% reliable so don't get discouraged

Are you looking too high? When I was that early I always found it all the way down at my pubic bone. Took a while to figure out to go that low.
