All you mummy's who take their lil Ines swimming do you go morning or afternoon? Seems hard fitting…

I usually try to go before lunch but haven't always. I'd offer a feed and try and go about 30mins to an hour after. As they find it quite tiring. And Max would be starving if I waited until after to feed him.

@sara-lou86, thanks Hun I was thinking of giving her lunch around 11.45 then take her swimming but by the time we got in pool would be more like 12.30/45, then she can nap after at home or on way home probably lol I don't think she'd be too good later in afternoon x

@sara-lou86, can't go to local pool before lunch as opens 12 to public during week. Obviously weekends I would just go morning time x

I'd leave it 30-40 minutes after lunch. we go at 11.30 and have lunch afterwards, she is super hungry and tired - eats and sleeps really well after the pool!

@kate_smith, yeah I'd love to do that but would have to go 12-1 when opens but that would be a late lunch for her unless I gave her a snack after her 10.30 bottle to keep her going?

@kate_smith, thing 1.30 lunch my time we got home would be too late lol and she'd fall asleep in car on way home ha and wake up really starving and cranky

could you feed her at the pool? there is a cafe with height chairs at our pool. my daughter also falls asleep in the car and is not impressed when I get her out of the seat at home (or take her in with the seat, wakes up either way), so I tend to take the pram and wrap her up on the way back. xx
