I'm thinking diapers don't run true to weight...My son is 8 months about probably 17-18lbs and needs…

@missjess, They're not true to the weight at all. My daughter is 25 lbs and in a size 5. We use pampers.

My daughter is about 20lbs and wears size 4

My middles been in a size 6 since like a year old definitely not true to size, the 5s were gritting to tight on his hips

Why is my son needing a larger size when he is smaller? @eryka616, @brittxxdee,

5 is getting to tight on my sons waist and bum @brittxxdee, just seems strange when he should be in a much smaller size

It could be the brand, different brands run differently. My daughter was wearing target brand but we are going to switch her to something more for movement because she leaks a lot

Huggies cause he was leaking out of them at night time. I bought a small package of pampers the other day to hold him off till I went to target and the 6s fit him good in pampers@eryka616,

Huggies little movers work wonders for leaks that's what we did with our boys and they hold more so your changing so often @missjess,

I'll have to see if I can get them. Cause he has always worn Huggies but I switched when he started leaking. @kreese88,

@missjess, i had the same issue and found out huggies actually run small. Im using luvs. Krissi is 22lbs 8 months old in a size 5 and they fit PERFECT the higgies 5 are too tight and she was having a lot of leaking and explosions even with the little movers brand. So ... so far luvs won us

See for me luvs have run small! I don't mind them but they run smaller on my son.@brittxxdee,

I was using target brand too but I'm going to start trying huggies little movers and if that doesn't work I will try pampers cruisers
