Anyone give birth in a different position orher than traditional back and stirrups? Im doing research and planning on doing my side. I heard your pelvis opens up more an the contractions do a the work .

I pushed in sooo many different positions! But after 4hrs was exhausted and was on my back. If you have good midwives, nurses or doctors they will let you try whatever you want. And when the time comes...you'll naturally find the best position!

Oh my LOR'T . Only thing im really not looking fwd to is giving birth . I was planning on squatting first and right before the baby crowns to get on my side . I heard you tear less 🤧🤧

Not to frighten you 😆 but if you're meant to tear you will! I only got 2 small tears. My midwives were amazing in helping me avoid them. But squatting, kneeling, and side will help!

Changing positions during labor is a good way to get baby moving. Hands and knees was weird for me but it took the pressure off my back. You'll know what your body needs at the time of labor. Just remember your options and you don't have to lay in the bed. Walk around, take a shower. Your in control
