So what would you all do if you were in my case?...via my last couple of post. I keep freakin myself out because of his lawyer and the judge, the judge in our county usually sides with the man and the lawyer is top of the line. I know I'm a great mom and I even called her pediatrician and got a letter typed out stating she is well taken care of, clean and growing great, and I'm just so afraid of that judge awarding him a lot of time, I know she did a friend of ours she gave the dad majority of custody and the mom ONE day through the week!?

If he hasn't even been a part of her life since she's been born I honestly don't see how it's in her best interest to have him have 50/50. He'll still have to go through a home check and a background check and a mental health check. They don't just let the child go with them because they file. He'll have to really fight for 50/50. There's a lot of hoops to jump through to get 50/50 or more. They usually start off with visitation and go from there for unwed mothers. If you were married it's a little different but since you weren't married and he wasn't in your daughters life at all then he won't get a lot right off the bat. But he will get visitation. So mentally prepare for that

@deckroth2001, I was until I wasn't producing enough we just stopped at 4 months, @kailey.gallentine, that's how I see it too but the judge knew things on the other case like the dad being under the influence and wrecking with them in the car and he legit words were "I'm just going to disregard that" and he still sees the kids after that and she filed several police reports saying he was abusive and had them as proof and the MOTHER only gets 1 day a week I'll die if that's my case!! @rwarden9, thanks momma!

Is she breastfeed? Bc that can play a huge role. Also, was he there during pregnancy and birth?
