I just know its a ton easier to do it and nowadays, he'll be less embarrassed in locker rooms and stuff! There's so many articles for both ways..just google "articles of pros and cons for circumcision" thats what I did!

We are getting our son circumcised. My husband says its better and cleaner. No embarassment as an adult and hygenically easier with keeping it clean etc. @annekam1022

Out son isn't circumcised. I did a lot of research and found that the forskin has a lot of benefits. Its not hard at all to clean and you only have to clean it at bath time and when they poo. You just pull the skin back and wipe. You don't force it down. I personally couldn't bring myself to do it to my child but it's a personal decision. And as far as locker room goes.. I don't think anyone will know hes not unless he tells ppl.more children aren't circumcised than what there was. And America is pretty much the only country that does this for cosmetic reasons any more

We did circumcision because my grandpa complained about not being to my grandma and said he never felt clean because the sweat would just hang out in there and he was a skinny man and because there is always the possibility of needing it later in life due to infection and what not and being little our son wouldn't remember the pain but if he was older he might remember it

This is a decision that you and your partner will have to make on your own.. some have it done due to religious beliefs.. As far as locker room embarrassments..my 17 Senior has played football ever since he was 7 years old and since been in high school he also wrestles and going into the police academy, my 18 year old is also a senior and is in band and ROTC he is also enlisted into the Army... not being has not affected their lives at all... people will come up with any excuse not do or to do something.. what ever is the easiest way for them..

At first I didn't want too because he's daddy isn't circumcised and I didn't want him to ask why his was different then his daddy's. but then everybody was like you might wanna rethink that. So I have no idea I've done research and everything else. I just don't know!

Mine is circumcised for 2 reasons. 1. Continuing tradition and 2. His dad is. It was super quick and he was sleeping when I gave him to the medical staff and he was sleeping when they gave him back as if nothing happened. It's also a good idea to get opinions from medical professionals because they'll know more about it

Its a personal decision. My ex was uncircumcised and no matter how much he cleaned it he always got utis, yeast infections, and horrible smelling smegma. He also caused me to have utis which sucked and caused me to have kidney infections.

I didn't circumcise my son. There is no medical reason to cut off healthy flesh while the child is strapped down and in significant pain. When the child is small, you literally only wipe the outside of it. The foreskin is fused to the head of the penis until they are 5 or so. If you force the foreskin down, that's when he becomes susceptible to infections. Little known fact- your son is more likely to need a blood transfusion, need corrective surgeries, or even die from a circumcision than ever have a foreskin related infection. Circumcision is so painful it literally changes the way the baby's brain works. That is a legitimate study that you can look up and read on your own. Oh- also I didn't circ my son cause the hospital sells the tissue to outside companies to do whatever they want with it. Kinda creeped me out. It's true though. You can literally go online and buy the cells from a stranger's newborns foreskin. They also sell foreskins to companies to make makeup out of the foreskin tissue...

That's disgusting.
