@alliexa, I went all natural but had classes but the birthing classes were more like anatomy not exercises to cope with pain. They spend 10 mins telling us hope to cope we mostly went over effacement dilation placenta stages of labor birthing canal back labor panties pads ice packs Perry bottle tingle spray how to care for yourself breastfeeding u can do it don't give it we were made to do it. Pick a focal point I brought a pic, use the yoga ball breathe know that tomorrow it will all be over and hugs another day and u will have a precious baby
I didn't do any classes and went all natural. We did get a doula when I was about 32 weeks and she was AMAZING!!!!! Definitely worth the money and we're planning on using her again this time. The counter pressure she offered during contractions and the breathing guidance were life savers. She also helped to get me small things like a wet cloth for my face in the home stretch. Hubby could sit back and enjoy the process while the doula took care of everything else. Check into doulamatch.com and do interviews over the phone. Hire whoever you're comfortable with and you'll be totally set!
