I'm really trying not to cosleep. Not that I have anything against its just my bf and I won't be able to sleep together…
I'm really trying not to cosleep. Not that I have anything against its just my bf and I won't be able to sleep together if our son is in the bed bc my bf would probably roll on him, he's such a hard sleeper. But I let Sage sleep with me after daddy went to work and now everytime I put him in the bassinet he cries.

I did that. Everytime my oldest went to school but for the most part it was the rocker and now crib.

I did that too, but for us what I did and still do is make sure she naps and any other time she sleeps in her bed. There's been a few times where she's gotten out of habit where in middle of the night I would have to put her back to sleep in her bed until she got back used to it. Unless she's sick of course, then in middle of the night wake up times she comes to bed with us, I just keep my back to my husband and have her on my side of the bed

@shelbyjo whenever he sleeps in the day he sleeps in either his bassinet or rocker. Lastnight I put him on the side of me and had my back to my bf but I'm scared for when he starts to roll around that he'll roll off the bed. I always have my arm around him so he couldn't right now but I feel like my arm won't be enough protection from that eventually

Yeah, I get that. We have our bed along a wall and that's my side so she has that protection. If not have you considered butting up his bassinet or rocker to the bed temporarily? Until he gets the hang of sleeping alone?

@shelbyjo his bassinet is always right next to the bed he just wants to be close to me. He slept fine alone at first but then he was cluster feeding and waking me up every 45 mins so I put him in the bed with me and now he doesn't like sleeping alone.

With my son I held his hand until he went to sleep while I laid in bed & him in his Rocker . you could even try putting a shirt of yours (that's been worn not washed) in the bassinet with you.

@momofdeuce I'll normally feed him then burp him and as I'm burping him he'll fall asleep but then I'll put him down and he'll be fine for a couple mins then start crying. I've tried just putting my hand on him, I haven't tried the shirt thing tho. That's a good idea!
