The 28th was my birthday. The same day this beautiful woman went to heaven just this last year. It's a bitter sweet day for me. It's been a weird feeling this past year without her. She was my great grandmother. She was 95... NINE-FIVE! Crazy to think about how long a life she lived. She had definitely lived through A LOT. When she was younger her mother had passed away when she was only 15, after that she had a mean step mother. One day she had saw a dress that had lace on it. My great grandmother had asked if she could purchase it. Her step mother said "You don't deserve lace. Only pretty girls wear lace." Meaning she was not pretty. (Total crap.) When she passed, her casket had a long piece of lace buried with her. Because she DOES deserve lace. I love this picture of her and Coby. Coby loved her so much and she loved him. It was sad to see him walk into her room after she had passed and was looking around for her. But he was simply too young to understand. In some ways I think that's why God had planned me to have a child earlier than what I had planned, that way we could have 5 generations alive. I love you and miss you granny. 💕 #rip
