My cousin was like that. She ended up needing a csection but she and baby are fine. Baby is a yr old now

I went into preterm labor at 22 weeks. They were able to stop contractions and my water hadn't broke, so everything was okay, but had she been born that early she wouldn't have survived. From that point on, I was convinced she was going to be stillborn. The entire time we were setting up the nursery, having baby showers, picking her going home outfit, I was sad bc I just knew she wasn't going to be able to use any of it.

But here she is, almost 10 months old. I still worry myself sometimes. If she takes an unusually long nap or I leave her with someone else, I just think about her being hurt or worse. But she's always okay. Don't let your mind get the best of you, hun. Everything's gonna be okay!

@a.hicks49 .i delivered my 3 rd son in dec..my first 2 son's were delivered in 2 hr contractions 20 min and my last baby boy was 13 hrs contractions and 20 min labor yeah..maybe because.after going thru the other labors yrs apart esp for myself our minds are on overdrive...your not alone we realize life happens and we can't always be in control and im a planner for everything

My son came at 36 weeks, 6 pounds and perfect! I'm beyond scared baby girl will be even earlier. I'm terrified of something happening. I'm 21 weeks and keep saying a few more weeks til the chance of survival if delivered early is like 80%. I work in a large hospital and hear horror stories daily! You have to have faith.

Same here and it sucks not having anyone talk about it they just brush it off like oh you'll be fine

I can't give birth so I was scared as hell when they told me 2 days before they did the csection but everything turned out fine n I'm on my second pregnancy now
