I agree my pediatrician said to start at 4 months, but I don't think so!!!

@aliakr my son personally has so much gas and cries from belly pain frequently. I know his digestive system is still maturing. Recently he's been much better now that he's turned 5 months. Their little bellies are just not made to have food before 6 months. Even WIC will not give the baby food package until 6months

Yes !! I agree my poor baby is the same way.. I would never give her something more to upset her belly. She was so bad in the first 2 months she would never stop crying now she has good days N bad days.

Right! @aliakr I feel really saddened when I see people saying they're adding cereal to bottles, giving food at like 3 months, etc. I try my best not to be judgemental of other moms, but when I know something is just not beneficial to the baby....it just makes me mad.

Yeah I don't judge either but I sure do feel bad for the baby:( those things are all so selfish to make the baby sleep longer. I get this mostly from my family !! They say I'm starving my daughter cause I don't put cereal in her bottle an that she won't thrive cause she isn't getting more than 5oz an that I'm gonna have to listen to the doctor when she doesn't gain any weight 😐@arivera64,

If only doctors an moms research more before giving their baby something! New knowledge comes out every year

More so doctors, my doctor still thinks rice cereal is a first food to give at 4 months
