Does anyone know if nutramigen has a generic brand because these $40 cans killing my pocket
8 months old right? At that age i reduced the amount of bottles of formula I gave my son, and the ones I did give had cereal in them.
He was doing the same thing and was on special formula too.
My reccomendation, go buy a couple Tomme Tippee cereal bottles (wal mart has them i believe target does too)
For an 8 ounce bottle I started out with 6 scoops of cereal. Hes now up to 8 ounces of formula, 9 scoops of the cereal using the formula scoop. He drinks maybe 4 bottles a day and the rest is all finger/baby food. Hes 10 months old.
I reccomend trying a plain rice cereal first, it tends to have its own flavor, if he doesnt like it you can try the ones with flavor. Avoid using too much multi grain as I noticed it made my son constipated pretty bad.
Yeah like I have it but he goes through those so fast I literally end up spending 160 dollars even after that
Dang thanks @lovelily, I guess it's just going to have to keep pulling money out my pocket lol but I haven't yet done the coupons
It killed me, too! Did you sign up for the Nutrimagen coupons and samples? I gradually switched my baby over to Similac Sensitive, its not the same but she tolerates its way better than any other formula. There is a close brand, Similac Alimentum, but its the same price I think.
Also, he I typically only gave bottles first thing in the morning, at his afternoon nap, his bedtime, and once in the middle of the night when he wakes up hungry. All those are formula and cereal. He wont even drink plain formula anymore....I tried
