We learned to draw a line between our relationship and family drama. Family drama is not allowed to cross over. Don't let it and your relationships with both people will be healthier

@lpreston My boyfriend and mom used to not get along, now we're going over to her house for dinner and just to hang out. It could take some time. And keep telling them how you feel. Maybe one day they'll stop and listen.

Either by not responding to the drama and supporting each relationship individually or stating that you will not be the middle person and do as I stated above.
Sometimes people blow up when you state it first. Actions speak louder than words. We just stopped playing into the drama. It was hard at first because the messaging is awkward and not answering to the drama is a different beat to the drum. It works so well though and eventually things calm down because the people involved in drama realize they won't get a rise out of you with their games.
