Is it normal for an 18 month old sleeping patterns to drastically change. He goes to bed around 1030, he used to wake up around 6 or 7 am now he sleeps until around 12.. . Is he going thru a growth spurt? Should I wake him or let him sleep thru it??

@nasirmommy, totally understand I'm just jealous lol. I haven't slept more than 3 hours at a time for almost a year now. I feel like I'm slowly dying inside lol.

@brookemmoore always. But as a first time mommy all around sometimes I worry. I don't have friends and my family is very unsupportive

Thank you so much ladies now I can stop hovering over him every 5 mins. Maybe I can take this time to clean, read, or just watch a movie. @momytopaisley @turnturnsip
Let him sleep. If he didn't need it then he wouldn't be sleeping late. My 1 year old goes to bed at 10 wakes up at 9:30 and then takes a 3 hour nap. I felt guilty for letting her nap that long until I was told baby's need as much sleep as possible, they are a growing machine!❤️
@turnturnsip he takes them but not often. If he does is because he woke up early or if he sleeps in an takes one between 5 &7 pm
My stance on kids and sleep is to let them get as much as they need. Their bodies know better than we do.. probably.. lol but if I remember correctly 18 months is another typical growth spurt. Does he still take naps? Or at the very least still getting enough hours of sleep in a day?
