Today is the 20th anniversary of the day we met. April 28th 1997, I was 15 and thought I knew what life was about, never did I think oh 20 years from now this guy is gonna leave you broken. Back then I still had ambition and goals of success, which were later replaced by his wants of having a wife catering to him at home. I was raised to be independent, all the women in my family are self sufficient, so I'm embarrassed I allowed myself to believe he would always be there to take care of me. That's what he wanted, I never asked to be a housewife, but he would always tell me to stop working when I had a job, he couldn't stand that I had a life outside of home. Now that I'm fat and undesirable to him he would constantly tell me I need to find a job. It's funny that I waited 5 years to marry him, he asked me when I was 15 and I told him no... but being that I lived with him I eventually said ok, while planning the wedding I became pregnant with our 1st. It all started 20 yrs ago....
