I'm officially the "bitch" at work, but I'm okay with it.
This girl I work with is pregnant with her third daughter, and is due in about 15 weeks.
She started a go-fund me, and is literally posting up papers in the office and around the place with the go-fund me link, and her registry. She went to our managers and ask them to ask everyone to donate "to her cause.".
You better believe I spoke up.
A.) This is your third child of the same gender within 5 years. How do you not have the big ticket items!? (Crib, car seat, pack & play).
B.) You're going to literally beg your coworkers for handouts, yet, you don't even know half of our names? (She seriously gets me and another girl mixed up regularly.)
C.) You REALLY need to get your priorities straight. I'm sorry to be so blunt, but how the hell do you get off just assuming everyone should help you and this is everyone else's issue when you're the one who keeps having children you can't afford!
I said all of this too her, and management had the nerve to ask me why I'm so angry, and it wouldn't kill me to just donate some money. DONATE! Like it's a legit charity! This cow! Ugh!

She may have donated her items to another mom in need. I gave all of my baby items away after our son believing we were done having kids and a year later got pregnant with our second son. The only thing we had were baby clothes, thank god he was a boy because I gave all of my girl clothes to that same mom. I didn't know her and couldn't get anything back after breaking my phone and losing contacts.
Craigslist and churches are great places to go for used baby items.

@dhamiphoenix, you're right! someone also pointed that out that I work with. SO, I was like "go ask her nicely. See what happened to her bassinet and stroller that all of us got her two years ago at her second baby shower." So, my coworker asked her, "I saw you're asking for a new pack and play. Did the one you got for the last baby shower break? We want to make sure you get a good one if that last one wasn't good quality." And she had the nerve to say, "oh no, it's fine. It's just old, and we are doing her room in greys and yellows, and that one was bright purple. It clashes.". 😐😐😐 She's literally asking for a new pack & play because of the color of her last one.

Yeah that's a ridiculous reason unless she needs two because she has another child who needs the first one still.
Get her some sharpies to color it Grey and yellow lol jk

If she can't afford to buy for her children then she shouldn't be having another or even be asking for handouts. She should be grateful she has things instead of asking for more cause "the colors don't match " I agree with how you feel on this.
