Office has everything: PowerPoint, word, excel, etc. If you just need word, you should be able to buy it by itself. But office is still good to have, especially if you're a student.

You can always go to the Microsoft website. They might have a freebie, or at least a free trial. Word was already on my laptop when I got it.

Oh, okay! Definitely go with Office, then! If you go on the Microsoft website you can do monthly payments instead of paying for a year up front, if that's something you'd prefer (I know I do lol).
