Called it off with my bf of 8 yrs....I'm done with his controlling ways, jealousy, insecurities && I'm done with him belittling me and our girls. He's forever calling them mfs or retarded. I had a mom who used to drill in my head that I wasn't shxt && I was retarded so I had to end it bc I don't want my girls growing up insecure or second guessing themselves bc they will always hear their daddy in their heads calling them stupid && retarded. I also can't deal with having convos with my friends then walk back in the house to catch him easy dropping on my convo while I'm outside.....if Ima deal with a female I'll be a lesbian. We live together but don't speak to each other && luckily by time I get off from work he's headed into work so I don't have to deal with him until he gets home to the time I go back to work. I applied for housing yesterday but I'm thinking I might need to take my girls and go to a shelter until it comes through bc staying with somebody you absolutely despise just makes things more stressful. I'm terrified I'll fail at being a single mother with 3 bc I will have to find childcare for my 2 youngest && just seems like it'll be hectic. Anybody have some helpful advice, tips, resources, or can share their experience? I just wanna make it so my girls can make it.😔😟😔

I'm sorry you're going through this. Sadly I don't have any advice but everything's going to be ok and work out for you and your kids. Its awesome you took a stand for you and your kids. You all deserve better than that. Hang in there and stay strong mama 😘

It didnt me it was a small town tho I went twice had no issues they helped with deposits and stuff but they didn't have the capabilities to hell with the apartment but the town I live in now does so its different depending on size of town

@ariliyahzihmommy3 .I had my 1st son at 16 was with his father until 21 i divorced him.waited 7 yrs to have an other child with a real man that treats my child like his own We are together now 16 yrs...its hard being a single parent i ve done it So Can You ;)your obviously are a great mom for realizing your children don't deserve to be belittled and neither do you.what city are you in? They have emergency places especially for a woman with children 👼

I'm in Winder, GA is kinda small our housing list is closed so I applied with other housing programs one that should only take a month long but you never know. Yes I had to do it for my girls, he will still be in their lives but just not permanently in that environment. @sherrynygirl,

@ariliyahzihmommy3 .i goggled now while i am at work for you theres a place called peace place just for women and children says on website if full they can give you a motel accommodations..goggle it okay the number will come up instantly
