Ok so this is day 3 of monistat and I just put it in and for some odd reason it's like burning…

Monistat cream (that same 3 day stuff) burned my up SOOOOO bad with my first kiddo. It hurt 10/10 pain. I think it means it's working. If it's excruciating pain you can ask your doctor if you can do 1/2 the dose, or what was best for me was using the ovules. Those didn't burn as much. I'm assuming you mean at your vagina and not further up?

Girl that stuff Burns like no other!! I was 7 months pregnant when I took it. I couldn't even last 1 minute before I was in the shower washing it out . I took 3 showers to help my pain. It's the worst burning pain ever. @sam-i-am,

The reviews for that stuff said they experienced the same thing

@aliakr && @sam-i-am, seriously! I was basically humping my pillow in pain (trying to put pressure on it to help take the pain away, weird logic, i didn't care, it freaking hurt!)

I see what you mean now Sam. Sorry, but I was supposed to do the 7 day cream and I didn't even get past the second day. If it hurts, call your doc and ask for the ovules. It will probably make a big difference in the pain.

@aliakr yea I'm surprised I'm getting this burning pain now... when I first used it for 7 days it didn't burn and that was at the beginning of my pregnancy and now the yeast infection came back and I used it 2 nights in a row this was my third night and the other 2 nights I didn't get this burning and itching pain till tonight which is my 3rd day

@aliakr I just got out of the shower washing it out... I don't feel anymore burning or itching so I think I got it all out... hopefully!

Yes that's how I was an I was antsy like moving around trying to handle it but I couldn't so I went straight into the shower an washed it out . It finally stopped burning after the 3rd shower at like 3am lol. I couldn't even handle one dose I never took it again but it was enough to clear up my infection I never got it Again @kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom,

Yes it's probably all out. That stuff is horrible. It burns so bad. I rather go through labor 20 times than take them again lol @sam-i-am,

I would assume so. I never actually noticed that I had yeast infections during my pregnancies, I was told my my doctor each time so I would just do the treatment. The ovules are meant to do the same thing as the cream since they have the cream in them, it just allowed the cream to come out in slower/smaller doses over a longer amount of time. It was definitely less painful. My first OB For my first pregnancy said to do the 7 day cream but I stopped. With my second kiddo the doctor told me to do the 3 day cream and I asked for the ovules and she gave me the all clear to use them. Didn't have issues with it.

It sucks that I get yeast infections all the time! Ever since I started my period at 13 I get so many I don't understand why! I'm clean I take a shower everynight and wash down there everynight so I have no clue! @aliakr

I heard it can come from anything an everything even what we eat! They suck. I always get them when I have to take antibiotics @sam-i-am, if you weren't pregnant tell your doctor to give you the pill. It works so much better

Awww I'm sorry well maybe you can try vagisil next time I have no experience with anything else I've always taken the pill, except when I was pregnant an man that was horrible @sam-i-am,
