What is a good age to start baby on rice cereal?

How many oz of milk is she on?

I started putting a half a scoop of rice cereal at 3 months. Filled her up, rather than putting more formula, or breast milk. But every baby is different.

@daisychristina would you mix it with your breast milk? And was it only certain times of the day you would give it?

Put half a teaspoon in her formula. @elise305 i only give my son cereal in the morning occasionally in the afternoon and at bed time@elise305

Yes, well with formula. At first I got her use to just in the morning, when she would be fully awake, around 8ish/9 and then at night after her bath. Knocked her right out. :)

Rice cereal = nutritional value of cardboard.

@cubanese thanks boo. Im not on any cereal yet for my baby just getting feed back ... my MIL is all aboutne putting vayda on cerel im kind of iffy... thNks for your advice i have been reading it 😊

As well My pediatrician said no to cereal....i do agree. but hearing what other mamas experience was.

yeah my pediatrician said not till 4 months because there stomach may not be strong enough for it till then so I didnt.
